I find inspiration in nature, from Lithuania’s evergreen forests to England’s Jurassic Coast and Chicago’s Lake Michigan. My mixed-media paintings capture fleeting emotions—joy, longing, serenity—through abstract landscapes, cityscapes, and still life, where color is the primary storyteller. Loose brushstrokes, layered with precise ink lines, create a sense of mystery and interconnectedness between everyday objects and nature. I see art as an ongoing conversation, inviting viewers to bring their own stories and interpretations. For this reason, I rarely title my works, allowing each piece to remain open to personal meaning.
